...for Auntie Be-Yoo

Just to give Iain his turn in the spotlight, I thought I'd post these cute photos of him in his new robe that Aunt Breha made him this Christmas. He calls it his "GO LEAFS" robe, (we are happy for his patriotic Canadian hockey spirit...and we haven't told him that the Leafs are currently fighting it out for the bottom of the barrel!) and he often asks for "Iain's pope" (robe). We have a hard time getting it off him, even for meals and naps. It's a perfect gift for the winter, since we keep our house at a frigid temperature, AND we pretty much stay in our pajamas all day long! Thanks Auntie Be-Yoo!

Lots to catch up on in blogger-land, but (obviously!) not much time. I'll be back soon with photos and stories from December, Christmas, New Years, Liam's first days on earth, and life with two...but for now, here are just a few photos for an Auntie in North Carolina, who has been begging daily for "NEW PICTURES OF LIAM PLEASE!". Our little man is changing all the time, and already seems so BIG! We're slowly but surely adjusting to life as a family of four, and enjoying our little crew of boys! More soon...now it's bath time for two little men!

It started out as a quiet family New Year's dinner at mom and dad's...


Mr. Iain was very excited...

We had a wonderful dinner and a fun time playing dominoes. All of us very sleepily made it to midnight. We were watching the Food Network at 1 am and all of a sudden Beth said "My water just broke!"

So we called the midwife and made our way to the hospital about 2:30 am. A few hours later we met the newest member of the Pitman family... Liam Charles Pitman!

He was born at 7:20 am and weighed 8lbs 13oz and was 22" long. All the Pitmans are doing well! More pictures to follow soon!
